Mead Botanical Garden — 1300 South Denning Drive Winter Park, FL 32789 United States
This edible plant walk introduces you to the rich diversity of Central Florida's native and wild-growing plants. You'll learn safe and ethical foraging practices, and how to identify therapeutic species, edible plants, plants with cultural and ecological importance, and beneficial "weeds" that thrive in our ecosystem. The experience is educational, inspiring and accessible for beginners. We end the walk with a wildcrafted tea tasting made from ethically foraged plants.
